Have you already discovered the new walking (design) route over Strijp-T?
The Eindhoven Design District can now be discovered through various design routes. On the initiative of the Dutch Design Foundation, Municipality of Eindhoven, and Eindhoven365, several walking routes have been set out in the city, marked with 'design markers'. The aim of these routes is to provide a greater platform for design and technology in the city and to stimulate design thinking. This way, artworks become more visible and experiential.
The Design route Strijp takes you along the tech and design highlights of the former Philips industrial sites, including Strijp-T. While walking, you will discover the must-sees and hidden gems such as the Silo by Stella van Beers, artwork Contour by APTUM lighting, statue 'Gerard' by Andreas Hetfeld, and the Innovation Powerhouse designed by Atelier van Berlo, de Bever architects, and Margriet Eugelink.
Alderman Robert Strijk unveiled the first Eindhoven Design District marker on Thursday, November 21st.
