The T-line officially opened.
Today, the T-line was officially opened in the presence of over 40 guests. The T-line, conceived by Stefan de Bever, is a 2.5 km long route across the entire Strijp-T site.
The name refers to the conveyor belts that were used in production on Strijp-T in the past. The route is suitable for exploring all corners of the site on foot (during lunch) or for use as a running track.
The route is also equipped with 8 different sports exercises, including a 60 m sprint. Sprinter Demi van den Wildenberg He opened this with a 7.36-second PR! On his way to an Olympic medal!
After the whole group walked the route, during which the exercises were demonstrated by the ladies of Kragt and the sporty men of Fontys/EindhovenGym, there was a long and enjoyable chat and drinks at Vascobelo. A nice detail is that even from the Drents village, we were once asked to be able to exercise at Strijp-T. And EindhovenGym can also make good use of this course as an addition to their sports offer. The signage was designed by Kragt and executed by Henk Kramer. The T-line does not go unnoticed, not only on the premises.
The post about the T-line on the LinkedIn page of Strijp-T has already been viewed over 26,000 times since Friday and has been liked over 200 times. Feel free to come to Strijp-T to use the T-line and let us know what you think of it!
