Wim Troost (98) passed away.

We received the sad news that Wim Troost, who has been closely involved in the start of ASML from building TQ at Strijp-T, passed away on Friday morning, June 7, at the age of 98.

Until the very end, he remained involved with 'his' TQ, closely followed the redevelopment of Strijp-T, and kept us sharp to carefully preserve the important historical facts that have taken place on this site for the next generation.

Or as he could put it so sharply: "from Strijp-T, world history has always been written and the economy driven".

We will miss his presence, shared passion, and pride in Strijp-T.

We wish the family strength in this loss.
