Wim Troost (98) passed away

We received the sad news that Wim Troost, who from building TQ at Strijp-T was closely involved with the start of ASML, vrijdagochtend 7 juni has passed away at the age of 98.

Until the very end he remained involved with "his" TQ, closely followed the redevelopment of Strijp-T and kept us alert to carefully preserve the important historical facts that have unfolded on this site for the next generation.

Or, as he could put it so sharply: “from Strijp-T world history has always been written and the economy stimulated”.

We will miss his presence, shared passion and pride in Strijp-T.

We wish the family much strength with this loss.
