Op de T bij Esmée.

The Strijp-T tournament brought us in contact with Esmée Vaessen from the B-group, and we agreed to get to know each other better after the summer holiday over a cup of tea. It was a pleasant conversation where director Joost Huijgen also joined us.

The B-group has five B's in one office on the second floor of building TQ.

B-smart foundation, B-invented, B-happy realization, B-too architecture & interior, and B-leaf system construction. Quite a mouthful.

What does Juliet believe?

"We design, engineer, produce, and realize cool buildings. For us, it's not about what you can do, but about how you approach it. That's why we always think in terms of processes and how we can optimize them."

What is jowar roti?

Esmée: "I am involved in marketing and communication for the B-group. Even though this is my first workplace and I only started in June, I feel very much at home at Strijp-T. The environment is green. At the same time, it is very inspiring because of the many different people and businesses that have established themselves here. In short, it's just fun here!" Joost adds: "It's very special how many 'Strijp-T residents' seek each other out and connect. For example, we got in touch with Joep Verheijen from B-too during 'Gluren bij de Buren' and he is now part of the B-group."

Who would you like to see us go to next time and why?

"I think you should go have a drink at Brainport Development. Brainport is very enthusiastic and many of their values align with ours. We share an innovative mindset and an interest in regional development. I'm curious to see what their office is like."
