WHAT ON EARTH IS GOING ON OVER AT STRIJP-T?

" This question was often asked in the past. Back when this part of the Philips industrial site was completely out of sight because of the high fences that surrounded it. Strijp-T was, until recently, the last part of the 'hidden forbidden city' in Eindhoven. No one knew exactly what was happening there. Although Philips is no longer housed at Strijp-T, this question is still regularly asked. But now because of all the construction activity taking place there and the many new company logos that 'suddenly' appear. Each time this question is then answered with new achievements, attained results and developments by an enthusiastic Boudie Hoogedeure of the Strijp-T development team. A moment of reflection."

Redevelopment

Strijp-T The transformation plans at Strijp-T are becoming increasingly noticeable. The site, including the Gloeilampplantsoen and the various former Philips factory complexes, has undergone a complete metamorphosis in recent years at breakneck speed. All of this with respect for the original architectural character. Ready to house companies from the innovative High Tech manufacturing industry. The energy of yesteryear is still clearly palpable and remains symbolically visible through the iconic tall twin chimney which are being fully restored. It is no coincidence that the slogan at Strijp-T reads: undertake with full energy. With the aim of making Strijp-T, together with Strijp-S and Strijp-R, part of Innovation District Strijp. In this, Strijp-T is characterized as a sustainable high-end business park for companies that are ready for the next phase, i.e. beyond the startup phase.
