Let me introduce myself...

At Strijp-T, since November last year Nick van der Eerden (yes, indeed family of....uncle Wilfred) has been working as assistant manager. Nick currently works 3 days a week, on Monday, Wednesday and Friday, 3 hours per day.
Nick lives in Geldrop, is 23 years old and his hobbies are using computers, fishing, archery and watching Formula 1.
As assistant manager he helps Wilfred keep the grounds neat and clean and carry out small jobs. For tidying up the grounds he rides around weekly with the Strijp-T cargo bike. “I love being outside. And recently I have a very warm Strijp-T jacket, so even in these cold months it's no problem to be outside comfortably. My favorite spot is the gloeilamp plantsoen, because of the many different little birds and butterflies that fly around there in the summers.”
Nick continues: “I find Strijp‑T very pleasant. You meet many different people. And there is always something going on. The people are also very nice and always greet you. And there is always something to do. Sometimes they ask for directions and want to know where a company is located. That sometimes even happens in different languages. I was also recently able to attend the Christmas get‑together. Then you also get to know the faces of the people, whom until then you had only met via email.”
Nick is proud that PSV sponsor, Brainport Development, is on Strijp-T and concludes: “it suits me very well. Definitely! And who knows, I might, like my uncle, later also become a manager here. If not as his successor, then perhaps as a second manager since many more companies will come in the future”.
