Mayor Jeroen Dijsselbloem visits Strijp-T

On Friday we had the pleasure of hosting Mayor Jeroen Dijsselbloem at VBTI in the Innovation Powerhouse and at Avular in building TY, as part of his tour of robotics companies on Strijp-T. The mayor saw how AI technology transforms ‘dumb’ robots into smart assistants that function effectively in everyday situations. VBTI and Avular demonstrated the use of the latest AI techniques to address data challenges and costs.

Thus, VBTI demonstrated the innovative cucumber leaf-cutting robot and the AI-Vision inspection robot, which determines for itself how and where to look for accurate inspections of high-tech components, thereby saving valuable time for employees. Finally, the hand-gesture-operated AI foosball table was a big hit with the mayor!
