Mayor Jeroen Dijsselbloem visits Strijp-T.

On Friday, we had the pleasure of welcoming Mayor Jeroen Dijsselbloem at VBTI in the Innovation Powerhouse and at Avular in building TY, as part of his tour of robotics companies in Strijp-T. The mayor witnessed how AI technology transforms 'dumb' robots into smart assistants that effectively operate in everyday situations. VBTI and Avular demonstrated the use of the latest AI techniques to address data challenges and costs.

VBTI demonstrated the innovative cucumber leaf cutting robot and the AI-Vision inspection robot, which determines how and where to look for accurate inspections of high-tech parts, saving valuable time for employees. Finally, the AI foosball table operated by hand gestures was a great success with the mayor!
