Biodiversity at Strijp-T

As is known, sustainability is one of the themes at Strijp-T. In addition to reusing materials, implementing energy-saving measures, offering and contributing to sharing concepts such as Mobility partner AMBER and Working Spaces MELT, efforts are being made to enhance the quality of the green environment and promote biodiversity. Ideas and initiatives from residents and the surrounding area are embraced and implemented as much as possible.

Niels de Kinderen from de Kinderen hoveniers has been busy in recent weeks installing 32 bird boxes and sparrow pots, 14 bat boxes, 8 insect hotels including 2 very large ones in the shape of a light bulb. These boxes were made at. Campus Vitaal where people with a distance to the labor market work on everything that grows and flourishes.

You can find the cabinets scattered around the premises, along the T-line, in the inner gardens, on the rooftop garden of TQ, and of course in the Gloeilamp plantsoen. Have you spotted them yet?
