Biodiversity on Strijp-T

As is known, sustainability is one of the themes at Strijp‑T. In addition to the reuse of materials, the application of energy-saving measures, the offering of and contribution to sharing concepts such as Mobility Partner AMBER and Working Spaces MELT, considerable effort is being made to strengthen the quality of the green environment and to promote biodiversity. Ideas and initiatives from residents and from the surrounding area are embraced and granted as much as possible.

Thus, Niels de Kinderen van der Kinderen hoveniers has been busy in recent weeks installing 32 tit boxes and sparrow pots, 14 bat boxes, 8 insect hotels including 2 very large ones in the shape of a light bulb. These boxes were, by the way, made atVital Campus where people who are distant from the labor market are committed to everything that grows and blooms.

You can find the cabinets scattered around the site, along the T-line, in the inner gardens and on TQ's rooftop garden and, of course, in the Gloeilamp park. Have you spotted them yet?
