Official opening of the artwork 'Silo T'

Strijp-T is known for its remarkable buildings, each building is almost a work of art in itself. Vrijdag 25 maart a new artwork will be added to the art route on Strijp-T, namely: SILO T.

The artwork was exhibited during the Design Academy Eindhoven graduation show last year and is now getting a nice spot on Strijp‑T.

SILO T:

For 40 years this silo was used for pig feed. With the disappearance of the small farms, many silos are becoming redundant. For these large, hard-to-recycle objects, Stella van Beers set out to find a suitable new purpose. By looking at a future function without losing sight of its origin. This silo with two floors and a balcony is now ready for a second life.

This is the first prototype, another piece of Brabant landscape on Strijp-T.
