Grand on T: Strijp-T at its best!

On donderdag 26 juni the annual Strijp-T Tournament took place in the Gloeilampplantsoen for the fifth time. The theme of this jubilee edition was ‘Groots op T’.

Almost 800 Strijp-T-ers from 40 #StrijpT companies, divided into 80 teams, competed enthusiastically for sporting honour. In the end, Sparke & Keane, Avular, Ipp and Keenfinity finished in a shared second place. The final — traditionally a tug-of-war across the pond — was this time won by Volantis, so the coveted trophy will be on display there for the coming year. Louwers Advocaten also won a prize for the most original outfit.

With a food court, party tent, live music and a Ferris wheel the atmosphere was extra magical and it became an unforgettable event with a well-attended afterparty at a ‘secret’ location into the early hours. Nice to see how Strijp-T-ers are Proud of T, voluntarily committing themselves to enjoying so much fun together.
