Strijp-T Topper Danny Peters

People make the difference – also at Strijp-T. And especially volunteers!
That's why we involve as many volunteers as possible at our Strijp-T events. It's no coincidence that these are activities by and for Strijp-T'ers, to enhance mutual connection and solidarity.

Since this year, people can nominate someone for the StrijpTopper Tile. This time it's Danny Peters from Foreside. Thanks to his efforts, Strijp-T comes to life even more. This year, he initiated and organized the Strijp-T Urban Run: an adventurous run under, over, and through the former Philips factories on our premises. Past hidden places, with a finish on the rooftop terrace of building TQ. Nearly 100 runners participated in this first edition – and thus a new annual sporting tradition is born.

As a token of appreciation, Danny received the exclusive and well-deserved Strijp-T Topper Tile with certificate from Boudie Hoogedeure, on behalf of the community board.

“Danny proves that community spirit isn't about grand gestures, but about countless small acts full of energy, enthusiasm, and sincere interest. Danny is the topper who makes Strijp-T even more special than it already is,” according to the jury's verdict.
