Strijp-T Oscar Awards

Last week there was another edition of 'peeking at the neighbors'. This time we visited IPP and SoMMedia. Ivi Apostolatos and Nikéh Schulpen told us more about what they do and gave us a tour of their beautiful new office.

At the TV studio of SoMMedia, Sven Braat was our host. After the tour, the premiere of 'The Secret of Strijp-T' took place. The film shows why Strijp-T is more than just an industrial estate. Strijp-T residents Eef Notten from Avular, Alexandrine Nguyen from CelSian, and Alex Hupkes from KRAGT received an Oscar for their contribution to this film. The film was created through a collaboration between director Rick Smits and the team of Sven Braat and other colleagues from SoMMedia. Rick Smits also received an Oscar for his role as director.
