Strijp-T Oscar award ceremony

Last week there was another edition of ‘peeking at the neighbors’. This time we visited IPP and SoMMedia. Ivi Apostolatos and Nikéh Schulpen told us more about what they do and gave a tour of their beautiful new office.

In the TV studio of SoMMedia, Sven Braat was our host. After the tour the premiere of ‘the Secret of Strijp-T’ took place. The film shows why Strijp-T is more than an industrial park. Strijp-T residents Eef Notten of Avular, Alexandrine Nguyen of CelSian and Alex Hupkes of KRAGT received an Oscar for their contribution to this film. The film came about through a collaboration between director Rick Smits and Sven Braat’s team and other colleagues from SoMMedia. Rick Smits also received an Oscar for his role as director.
