Join the Strijp-T Loop

Last weekend was all about the marathon in Eindhoven. Various distances could be run, including the quarter marathon (10km).

This year, the Strijp-T running team consisted of over 50 runners from 17 different companies with 9 different nationalities.

After the usual group photo and eating a Strijp-T banana, Tim van Lier from CelSian came in first among the Strijp-T male runners with a finishing time of 37:24, placing 12th among the 6,000 runners. Among the women, Estelle Fraysse from Accenture was the fastest Strijp-T runner of 2024 with a finishing time of 55:29.

With thousands of enthusiastic runners passing by Strijp-T, the energy in the air was palpable. The buildings of Strijp-T formed a beautiful autumn backdrop, adding an extra layer of atmosphere to the charm of this sporting event and to the vibe of Brainport Eindhoven. Congratulations to all participants for their achievements.

Afterwards, while enjoying coffee with warm sausage rolls from Strijp-T manager Wilfred van der Eerden and his wife Ilse, there was a post-race chat and at Deity there was even an afterparty with a bouncy castle for all the runners and colleagues who came with their children to watch and cheer.
