Peeking at the Neighbors at Avular!

Yesterday the Strijp-T community visited Avular in the former glass cathedral of Philips on Strijp-T.

After a welcome from Albert Maas and Koen van Loon, the group was guided around by Yuri Steinbuch and Koen Evers. It was a unique tour through the beautifully appointed building where robots drive around and drones fly in the largest drone cage in Europe.

In the building there is also a shard workspace concept of ‘Melt at Avular’. Here various robotics companies are located such as Sita Robotics, SARA, Mujin, cboost and TechKicks. Lex Hollanders of DaVitt took us into the world of AI-driven burnout prevention.

The meeting ended with a pleasant snack and drink!
